Emeka Onyike - Born Gosport, England

August 14, 1999

Emeka is a British artist, born and raised in the UK, though now residing in Australia. A proud grandson of Eze Ogo (Dr.) Anagha Ezikpe, and the late Mrs Linda Ezikpe.

He is inspired by the legacy of his grandparents, with his second official release being a self-produced tribute to their legacy: Foreparents

Emeka is creating a legacy of his own with his impressive musical career; the UK Hip-Hop artist draws similarities to other British artists, namely: Wretch 32, Kano, and Cadet.

Similarly to these artists, Emeka is a storyteller with a central theme of authenticity. Emeka’s single Wretch’s Cadet explores his admiration of these artists and the influence they have on his music, as well as Emeka’s own musical journey. The song also serves as a tribute to Cadet who passed away.

Emeka desires to inspire others with his music, litered within his work are hidden lyrical gems that once analysed, the listener can use to overcome obstacles within their own life. Emeka shares his experiences for his fans to take note of, and learn lessons from.

Emeka’s music explores both the positives and negatives of his experience and reality, jampacking each of his songs with great emotional depth, authenticity, and vulnerability.

The artist’s journey is young, and both he and his fanbase, of whom he refers to as ‘my people’, are extremely excited by his current display of talent and his vast potential.
